Seit einigen Jahren teilen wir uns in Stuttgart unser Lager mit der Firma NYUZI Blackwhite. Sarah Ambani und ihr Team produzieren Taschen und Rücksäcke aus recycelten Zementsäcken in ihrer kleinen, WFTO zertifizierten Näherei in Lusigetti, nahe Nairobi. Sarah unterstützt uns seit Jahren bei den Schnittmustern unserer Shirts und somit haben wir uns gedacht, es ist an der Zeit das auch mal ein Kipepeo-Shirt bei NYUZI Blackwhite entsteht. In den letzten Monaten haben wir einen tollen, neuen Unisex-Oversized T-Shirt Schnitt entwickelt und das Team von NYUZI in der Herstellung von T-Shirts geschult. Inzwischen sitzen alle Handgriffe und wir werden im August 2024 in die erste, kleine Produktion gehen! Das Motiv „BIRDS“ besteht aus Zeichnungen von 3 verschiedenen Vögelchen welche die Kinder der Näherinnen von NYUZI gestaltet haben. Durch die Verkaufserlöse soll deren Schulbildung unterstützt werden und durch die Produktion, erhält Sarahs Team ein zusätzliches Einkommen und ihr natürlich ein wirklich ganz besonderes Kipepeo-Shirt!

ACHTUNG:
Dieses Shirt hat einen Uni-Oversized Schnitt und sitzt daher etwas lockerer als unsere klassischen T-Shirts. Für Männer passt die „normale“ Größe, Frauen bestellen besser eine Nummer kleiner als gewöhnlich.

Our Print Designs

Social Commitment / Support for School Projects
Through the selling of Kipepeo products, we promote schools and education in East Africa. In the following, we show you to what extent our partner projects in Tanzania and Kenya have been supported by Kipepeo-Clothing since 2008. In recent years, Kipepeo-Clothing has received several awards for social and economic commitment. Amongst others, we received the renowned "Making a Difference" Award from Dr. Jane Goodall, we were honored in the "Land of Ideas" competition of the German Federal Government in the category "Economy" and we gained a top 3 ranking in the category "Business Partnerships" of the German Sustainability Award.
